Forestry operation
According to Forestry Law, forestry operation (preparation, direct implementation and supervision of forest management works, forest protection, timber harvesting, forest infrastructure, forest ecology, urban forestry, construction and maintenance of forest infrastructure, and other related works) shall be carried out by contractors registered and licensed for such activities.
The applicant must demonstrate compliance with professional requirements (employment of appropriately qualified professionals, operators of suitable machines and equipment) and technical capability requirements (appropriate machinery, devices, and equipment). Please refer to Annex 1 of the aforementioned Ordinance, which specifies the requirements for individual types and phases of forestry works.

Fees
The minimum fee is 1.592 €, and the maximum fee is EUR 66,361, valid for a period of five (5) years, which is the duration of the licence.
The fee for issuing or renewing a licence is determined based on the contractor’s total annual revenue in the calendar year preceding the year of issuance or renewal of the licence, as follows:

Legal Remedies
An appeal against this decision is not permitted. However, an administrative dispute may be initiated by filing a lawsuit with the competent Administrative Court within 30 days from the date of delivery of this decision.
The applicant must demonstrate compliance with professional requirements (employment of appropriately qualified professionals, operators of suitable machines and equipment) and technical capability requirements (appropriate machinery, devices, and equipment). - Proof of registration (in the country of origin - freedom to provide services / freedom of establishment)
- Statement by the responsible person on employed personnel
(for companies registered in Croatia, this is Form 117 of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute - HZMO) - Statement on ownership or possession of appropriate machinery and equipment
- Certificates of qualification for machine and equipment operators, as well as certificates for safe work, in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Certificates / attestations of machines required for the performance of works
