Monitoring and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions from aviation activities
First option - FREEDOM TO PROVIDE CROSS-BORDER SERVICES
If you are established in EU/EEA state, you have freedom to provide services on temporary and occasional basis, without obligation of establishment in Croatia, mandatory membership in professional body and without a prior check.
An online declaration is sent at pisarnica@mzozt.hr or ets-postrojenja@mzozt.hr:
Request for Approval of the plan for monitoring and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions from aviation activities (form) to which the following documents are attached
• proof of possession of an operating license in accordance with applicable European Union regulations
• proof of the aircraft operator attributed to the Republic of Croatia as a Member State of management for the highest estimated aviation emissions released during flights performed by that aircraft operator in the base year
• plan for monitoring and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions from aviation activities
If EU/EEA nationals do not provide the required documents, a competent authority will check their data via the Internal Market Information System (IMI).
Second option - FREEDOM TO ESTABLISH
If you are established in EU/EEA state, you as a physical or legal person have freedom to provide services on a permanent basis in Croatia, if you register an establishment in Croatia and submit the following documents, i.e. fulfil the following conditions:
• The request is accompanied by the required attachments:
- proof of possession of an operating license in accordance with applicable European Union law
- proof of the aircraft operator attributed to the Republic of Croatia as a Member State of management for the highest estimated attributed emissions from aviation released during flights performed by that aircraft operator in the base year
- plan for monitoring and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions from aviation activities
If EU/EEA nationals do not provide the required documents, a competent authority will check their data via the Internal Market Information System (IMI).
