Road Transport Posting Declaration

Road Transport Posting Declaration (RTPD) is a mandatory electronic notification that transport operators must submit when posting their drivers to work in other EU states.

The declaration must be submitted via the European Commission’s RTPD portal (accessed through an EU Login account) before the commencement of the transport operation. The declaration includes information on the transport operator, the driver, the vehicle, and the type of transport.

The declaration must contain the information prescribed in Article 11.d of the Act on Working Hours, Mandatory Rest Periods of Mobile Workers and Recording Devices in Road Transport.

Detailed instructions, frequently asked questions and video guides for registration and use of the system are also available on the RTPD portal. The aforementioned information is also available on the website of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure.

The system aims to ensure conditions of fair competition and equal conditions for workers and companies, transparency of working conditions and effective supervision of posted drivers.

The RTPD portal enables:
  • submission and management of posting declarations,
  • review and editing of existing declarations,
  • downloading of confirmations and records,
  • communication during verification procedures carried out by host Member States.

The RTPD portal is technically connected to the IMI system (Internal Market Information System). However, transport operators do not register in the IMI system itself.
